Google+ Statistics is one of Google’s wonderful online and social connecting tools that tracks the top 100 users and the most popular posts on Google+.
It’s a tool you can never afford to miss installing on your blog or
website! If you are on Google+ you will understand the need for your
streams and updates to be captured and as well promoted on the Google
Plus Community. The Google+ Statistics is made by Boris Veldhuijzen van
Zanten, co-founder of Twitter Counter and The Next Web.
As at the time of this post, Google+ Statistics had tracked and generated detailed statistics of 75,251 users and pulled in hundreds of the most popular posts, every second of the day, from Google+.
To be among the many tracked by Google+ Statistics, read and follow the
steps in this tutorial, and you will automatically begin to see
the analytics of your Google+ activities even from your blog or website.
This tool will let you know how many people added you in their circles,
your progression and where you rank in the list of popular Google+
users.
How To Get Started
Step 1: Go to http://socialstatistics.com/ to configure and generate the Google+ Statistics widget for tracking of your Google+ activities.
Step 2: On the official page of Google+ you will see a widget like the one below, add your Google+ profile ID and hit on “Add me“.
Step 3: The page will reload and then open again with your currently tracked statistics on Google+ and your Google+ Statistics Widget which
you can now copy and paste on your blog or website. See the screen-shot
of my own Google+ Statistics Tracking Widget below:
Recommended: Once you finish installing the widget, look out for the link by the left side of the page and click on “email us to know you have installed this widget” This will enable the Google+ team to immediately start tracking your Google+ activities.
Cheers!
